Want It Wednesday – Oscar Tiye And Nicholas Kirkwood Spring 2016 Collection.

It’s Wednesday, surprisingly one of my favorite days of the week after Friday, and no don’t ask me why. I’ve been working on a project that has left me on a constant high, even though it is eating up into the almost no time that I have, but then again, that’s content for another day. The end justifies the means (or something like that) and I can bet you guys will be as excited as I am now when it materializes. Everyday is a great day to flaunt a new pair of shoes whether on the runway or the sidewalk, boardroom, classroom or even in your living room. A well fitted, comfortable and elegant pair of shoes on well pedicured feet changes the game. When I came across the OSCAR TIYE AND NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD SPRING 2016 COLLECTION, I thought what’s not to share.¬†From the colors to the textures and edgy designs,¬†there’s sure to be a spring in your step. In addition are heels with form, voluptuous and reminiscent of the pumps of the 50’s. Oscar Tiye, still one of my favorite brands till date, with Egyptian ascents is girl power redefined. From the Kitty to the Afef, Malikah (revamped), Minnie and Mirtha series, Amina Muaddi, creative director outdid herself again making a girl feel like the modern day catwoman. Which of the designers did it for you and what styles are you craving...

Just Because It’s #ShoesdayTuesday

It’s Tuesday and it’s Shoesday in footwear world and for the umpteenth time since Fashion Week, I’ve been ogling at the Spring 2016 Collections of many designers *sigh*. Two collections, no three, err 4…(no, I can never get enough)… point is they all struck me but i’d share 2 collections with you today. 1. Charlotte Olympia: The adventurous feel to this collection makes it stand out. The detailing is spot on. A mix of wild life and maps.       2. Rochas: They are Jeweled and that’s all that matters.   3. Aperlai: Ok I know I said 2, but what kind of person would I be if I left you hanging, just one more. Mostly metalics and fringes but I love and they are pieces i’d definitely wear. So there… Charlotte Olympia, Rochas and Aperlai on this #ShoesdayTuesday. Stay tuned for...
