Pom Poms, Feathers And Fur Because It’s Tuesday And It’s Shoesday.

No more just a pair of in house footwear, the Pom Pom, feathers and fur shoe trend is one that has come to stay as a fashion statement piece. From Carrie Bradshaw’s Dolce and Gabanna Fur Sandals featured in the HBO Sex And The City series to Paul Andrew’s 2017 Fall/Winter Feather sandals at the 2017 New York Fashion Week, the trend has evolved over the years and looks like it’s going no where.   From the high end luxury designers to the high street brands, there is a pair for everyone and because it’s Tuesday and it’s shoes day, here are some amazing designs that would make you want to jump on this trend. They are the perfect way to put some sass and details to a seemingly boring outfit.         There’s so many styles with this trend and after much debate on personal choices, i hopped on a pair. For the high end designers, you will part with $500 upwards while the high street brands sell for between $30 and $100 (N10,000 and above). You can shop for this trend HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE depending on what you’re looking for. And of course from the retail side of life with Sole Divas. Best part is with a pair of barely there sandals or plain pumps you want to add some vibes to, you can make a pair of your own and save some cash. In these easy picture steps i got from DAMASK LOVE, you are well on your way to adding some sass to your footwear closet.          ...

Shine On In Metallic Shoes!!!

A pair of Gold or Silver Shoes have always been an essential wardrobe staple to finish off the evening or red carpet look.   Now, metallic/holographic shoes have been in for more than 3 seasons in all their glory and apparently here to stay. For day time or night time, they are a stunner on any fabulous feet and add a lot of ooomph! to even the most casual outfit.   For a few seconds, visualize yourself in a plain white Tee and a faded out pair of jeans with these sandals below, lots of accessories and tell me you don’t see a winner. Even the most non conformist dresser will stun in it.     Since the release of the Spring/Summer collection by many footwear designers last year, the trend has caught on like wild fire and i’d be sharing some of my favorite pairs from luxury brands and high street brand as well. Enjoy     High Street Stores Couldn’t have done it better with metallic shoes, with their prices ranging from between 20 pounds – 100 pounds as opposed to 500 pounds and above from luxury brands   Indulge in metallics this season and take that look from bleh to glam in no time....

From The Runway To Your Closet – Spring Summer 2016 Shoe Trends

From New York to Milan to Paris and London, fashion week has come and gone. And with all the top notch designers showcasing their different collections, it’s time to get down to who designed what. This has to be my favorite time of the year. From all that was showcased and the recommendations of the fashion gurus from Vogue to Elle, we can definitely see a trend of what the Spring/Summer would bring. Below are our foreseeable Shoe Trends: 1.  Rainbow Colors: The runway experienced a lot of colors with top designers like D and G, Stella Jean, Chloe playing with bright colors to create a rainbow on your feet. 2. Statement Heels: Designers showcased quite a lot of heavy detailing this season. Gucci, Rodarte, Tory Burch, Alexander Mcqueen gave us some overkill.   3. Mules: The mules have come to stay in a more twisted way   3. Sneakers: The last season saw the sneakers being no more a guy thing. They were seen being rocked with dresses, skirts and obviously the females had a lot of fun with it. Now they are back and better, See what Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Adam Selman have come up with.   4. Metallics: Silver is back, a few golds, pewters and so on but a lot more of silver was seen adorning the Runway.   5. Slippers: The Gucci Fur Slippers from the fall collection probably paved the way for other designers, Gucci came back with it for the SS 2016 and so did Victoria Beckham. 6. Pointed Toes: An all time personal favorite, looks like it has taken its place and is going...
