It’s Monday and We’re Crushing On These Mens’ Shoes.

It’s Monday and We’re Crushing On These Mens’ Shoes.

I know I’ve never really paid attention to men’s shoes since I started this blog and that is mostly because I don’t know so much about the rules that govern styling them. I see the ones I like, I admire and I move on. My hubby is a sneaker head, 4 out of every 5 of his shoes are a pair of sneakers so i’m more inclined to them. But today, I won’t be talking female fashion, I’d be sharing some of the most popular male shoe styles. This should help if you’re looking to get your significant other, dad, boss or brother footwear. Did you read: From His Perspective with Moses Ebite Espadrille Slip Ons, Boat Shoes, Sneakers and Driving Shoes (Drivers): These are also mostly casual and are generally not worn with formal outfits like a suit. See Also: Lagos Fashion and Design Week This is the basic knowledge i have of men’s shoes without having to search google. Nigerian men are quite the fashion forward crew and in the past few years male fashion has evolved from just Tees and Jeans or suits to so many edgy looks that even the female folk need to keep their game tight. Mixing colors, textures, designs and prints,...

The 73rd Golden Globe Awards – All The Hidden Shoes On The Red Carpet

A major Red carpet event of the year and certainly one of the biggest. At the 73rd Golden Globe Awards, all the stars came out to play. I am mostly always eager to see what the female celebrities have underneath their floor length dresses, but this year, i am taking a huge interest in the men too, seeing that men’s fashion has gone far beyond oxfords/tux and sneakers/jeans. Let’s see all the shoe moments we missed last night.     There’s always something to look forward to and this was certainly no different, my high point of the night was Denis O’Hare’s style? I love brave fashion and he pulled it off nicely....

#ManCrushMonday – Fashion Forward Noble Igwe!!!

No, Noble Igwe is not a footwear designer, neither is he in the business of female footwear anything (not that I know of anyway). He is the CEO of 360Nobs group, an entertainment outfit and he sure is fashion forward. I was watching an episode of Wardrobe Diaries on Ebony Life TV last night and he was on it. I have followed him on Instagram and admired his sense of style, but that episode opened me up to his true love for shoes. I’m no male footwear expert, but what I like about Noble is how he isn’t scared to switch things up and trust me he does it with little or no effort. And in my little research between last night and now, I noticed in most cases, his shoes were usually the stand out fashion piece. You must have a high level of confidence and style to put together outfits like he does and not look like a clown. I’d say just stay in your own lane if you are thinking of copying him, he owns it and does justice to it.         So yea, focus away from female shoes. All hail the Igwe, our #MCM for today.   Photo Credit: 360nobs, Pulse.ng, YNaija, Google Images, Instagram....
