Shoesday Tuesday: For The Love Of Gucci

Shoesday Tuesday: For The Love Of Gucci

In the past few weeks I’ve seen so much love from Gucci with all the personal shoppers I follow on the gram from their bags to their shoes. The great thing about being a personal shopper especially a luxury personal shopper is that you get to see all the amazing designs in all their glory, feel them and even wear them. Imagine if work is having to wake up and go to Saks or Barneys all day everyday picking out items for your clients… *sigh*. Anyway, I resigned myself to my online option of ogling the Gucci brand last night and knew I had to give those shoes a feature today. I’m not so much a bag person but I did see a few that got me like that. Enjoy… And More… And then the bags.. The bag lovers actually have a lot of arm candy going for them with Gucci. And because Luxury pieces were made for Nigerian ladies, here’s a few of our fashionistas that have been spotted rocking these pieces. Shout out to those whose closets are filled with these beauties and we don’t even have an idea. Well done Gucci, looks like nothing is stopping you now. Peace, love and more sass Xoxo...
Sole Divas Wish List From The Spring/Summer 2016 Runway Collection

Sole Divas Wish List From The Spring/Summer 2016 Runway Collection

As I patiently wait to see how fashion goddess Lisa Folawiyo will do justice to this collection, I have decided to create my own wish list. Below are the top 10 shoes, in no particular order, I want from the 2015 Fashion Week showcasing the Spring Summer 2016 runway collection. 1. Proenza Schouler: They are pointed, they are mules, they are black and have a hint of silver to make up for the crystal/jeweled/stoned embellishments that would have made them the perfect pair. I know I said in no particular order, but let’s make this top of this list because I would wear them everyday and with anything. 2. Rodarte : The colors on this one got me. Rodarte just always kills it, comes in silver and I think gold, but this is my favorite. I love embellishments and the T- bar makes me want to learn how to do the Cha Cha. I would not just want this in my closet, I would love to wear them on a date. 3. Tommy Hilfiger: It’s funny to me that this made the cut as I’m not a sneaker girl. But the sling back design, Tommy did well with this one. I want to wear this with a T-shirt, Cropped denim pants, a baseball hat, an over sized tote and go and have fun with the kids. Yes please, I want them!!! 4. Christian Dior: Words fail me with this one, all the right shades of earth tones. I want to give a presentation or better yet sign a business deal with these pair on my feet. For lack of the right...

From The Runway To Your Closet – Spring Summer 2016 Shoe Trends

From New York to Milan to Paris and London, fashion week has come and gone. And with all the top notch designers showcasing their different collections, it’s time to get down to who designed what. This has to be my favorite time of the year. From all that was showcased and the recommendations of the fashion gurus from Vogue to Elle, we can definitely see a trend of what the Spring/Summer would bring. Below are our foreseeable Shoe Trends: 1.  Rainbow Colors: The runway experienced a lot of colors with top designers like D and G, Stella Jean, Chloe playing with bright colors to create a rainbow on your feet. 2. Statement Heels: Designers showcased quite a lot of heavy detailing this season. Gucci, Rodarte, Tory Burch, Alexander Mcqueen gave us some overkill.   3. Mules: The mules have come to stay in a more twisted way   3. Sneakers: The last season saw the sneakers being no more a guy thing. They were seen being rocked with dresses, skirts and obviously the females had a lot of fun with it. Now they are back and better, See what Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Adam Selman have come up with.   4. Metallics: Silver is back, a few golds, pewters and so on but a lot more of silver was seen adorning the Runway.   5. Slippers: The Gucci Fur Slippers from the fall collection probably paved the way for other designers, Gucci came back with it for the SS 2016 and so did Victoria Beckham. 6. Pointed Toes: An all time personal favorite, looks like it has taken its place and is going...
