I apologize for the late post but the cyber world decided to develop a mind of its own through the weekend. But she has since evolved and claimed her rightful place in the industry. From bridal make up to movie sets, campaign shoots, musical videos and documentaries with Wole Soyinka, Olusegun Obasanjo, Hafsat Abiola and Olusegun Osoba, Creative Director of Ara By Laide Artistry, Olaide Banjo has carved her niche, owned her own and is here to stay. One would expect that to make her work which involves been on her feet for hours. she would throw on a pair of flip flops and get to work. But this is one MUA that pays attention to even herself and her total looks beyond satisfying her clients. Let’s get straight to the interview after the cut.  JAY: Your job as an MUA takes you around a lot and has you standing for a long period of time. What are your most comfortable work shoes?? LAIDE: I stand through most times while working so i feel comfortable in sneakers or flossys or doll shoes if i could wear scrubs i wont mind lol. I have never been a believer of beauty is pain, there is always a less painful or no pain at all zone to keep the beauty locked in. I mean you can’t be beautiful if you are in pain. In the recent collection by top notch designers, block heels, platforms and flat forms have become more popular designs leaving a not so large percentage for the stiletto lovers. I am certainly not hating, I am just saying beauty doesn’t have to be pain.
