Sole Divas Style Guide – 5 Shoe Styles To See You Through The Work Year

Sole Divas Style Guide – 5 Shoe Styles To See You Through The Work Year

Happy Nu Yearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr – My grin is wide, my voice is hoax and I am, as always, very excited to get in my first blog post for the year Twenty Nineteeeeeen. After a short but interesting holiday, it’s safe to say your favorite #shoelover and fashion enthusiast is back to what she knows how to do best. (*WINK*)

It’s the new year and even though I no longer do resolutions, I still have a well written out plan on the things I hope to achieve through every quarter of the year. One of this is to structure my work life (It’s easy to fall out of a well defined routine when you run your own business, but I digress) and this would follow through with my ‘Work Wear’.

Throw back to when I worked a 9 – 5 as a Client Services Officer

In this post, I’d be sharing 5 Work Shoe Styles you want to invest in to get you through the year as you work to hit your career goals. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the corporate world, an entrepreneur or a stay at home mum, you deserve to look your best at all times. These shoe styles are versatile, stylish and if well incorporated will go with any category of work life listed.

UNCONVENTIONAL PUMPS

This is purely for my 9 – 5 sisters and entrepreneurs, whose businesses involve meeting clients in the corporate setting. Pumps should not be boring, go off the norm and kill it outfit after outfit.

Look out for structure like this asymmetric cut sling back pumps

You can never go wrong with nude, how’s the buckle overlay strap for effect?

Toe cleavages are always sexy and this shade of purple is just the right one for that grey blazer you’ve been ignoring.

Who says red is too loud for work wear? Come to me, i’d teach you how it’s done.

The ever classic black patent pumps with block heels and sling back. Just perfect.

ANKLE BOOTIES

This will still play fair to the 9 – 5ers and executives and as a full time mom, you can incorporate this into school meetings, so you see? no one is left out at the end of the day. I love these ankle boots/booties mostly for their style. They just have their way of making you stand out.

These Mesh booties are EVERYTHING

Khaki socks booties are so sleek and speak perfection. Class is the one word i’ve been searching for.

MULES

Mules work well for just any body, kitten heel mules are the trend these days – from flared heels to tiny heels, get them in unconventional colors and cuts and take your look from 0 – 100 in a slip.

SANDALS

For work wear options, strappy sandals don’t need to be too detailed. Focus on one detail – style, color or embellishments.

FLATS

Dressing down should never be an excuse not to show up fierce. Go all out on details with your flat shoes, from color choices to embellishments. If you can’t be high up there in heels, you can stay down there fiercely.

Which of these shoe style options would you be incorporating in your work wear range? For me, the plan is to get a bit of all 5 styles, one at the least of each. Reward yourself this year with your favorite things, you deserve it. All the sweat you put into taking care of others deserves more than a pat on the back.

If you’re constantly on a budget and looking good is important to you, SOLE DIVAS RETAIL has you fully covered. Show yourself some love.

Happy New Year Again lovers and may we smash our goals in style.

XOXO,

JAY.
