Sole Divas Interview – IN HER CLOSET- PR Girl and Style Blogger Derin From Isale Eko.
I am so happy to be back at this with the E Interviews, last year was a drag and getting the interviews in was quite an issue. Not relenting, I will go all in to bring you the best Interviews and Style features from your favorite fashion people as well as underrated fashionistas that should be in your line of fashion vision.
With the right use of textures and tones, I find her styling a lot refreshing. And when she does prints, she leaves you thinking “How did she even manage to pull that off?” Being a Style Blogger is not an easy feat to pull off but she does it so effortlessly.
When I got the chance to have her on the In Her Closet Interview Series, I knew it was a chance I won’t pass up on. Enjoy the E Interview below.
Interview With Derin Odugbesan
JAY: How would you describe your style?
DERIN: Less is always more, except its rings and bracelets lol.
JAY: What is the one fashion item you CAN’T say no to when shopping?
DERIN: Plain tees
JAY: Do your shoes determine the outfit or the outfit determines the shoes?
DERIN: The Outfit determines the shoes.
JAY: What’s your typical get up and go look?
DERIN: Denim and a t-shirt with heels.
JAY: Approximately how many shoes can we find in your closet?
(That was all she said and this response literally left me in stitches, all I can interprete is – “Girrrllllllllllllllllll, You don’t want to know”, but I totally get it…LOL! ).
JAY: Where’s your favorite place to shop for shoes and why?
DERIN: Online and in bed, I take my time to find what I want.
JAY: This or That
*Flats or Heels
*Suede or Patent Leather
*Pumps or Sandals –
*Sneakers or Ballerinas
*Black or Nude
DERIN: Nude ( I do NOT like black )
*Luxury or High Street*
DERIN: Mix of both
JAY: What’s the best part of being a Style blogger for you?
DERIN: Being able to do what I love and it doesn’t feel like work.
There we have it from one of the most influential and inspirational Nigerian bloggers.
What will you be picking from her style choices, I am definitely always inspired by her looks.
“Be obsessed with details and know when to wear statement pieces and when to leave off , or your outfits will look quite confused.” – Derin
